Brief
Civicworks sought to move away from the traditional red and black color scheme, aiming to refresh its identity with a more contemporary and inviting aesthetic. They envisioned their logo thriving in a warmer, more welcoming visual environment.
The Solution
The proposal introduced a distinctive background color for each service offered by CivicWorks. The accompanying patterns are abstract interpretations of Calgary’s communities, derived from their geographic boundaries. Each form is unique, yet collectively they illustrate a city that is diverse, interconnected, and continuously evolving.
