Brief

A team of four architects commissioned us to develop their brand name and visual identity. Their goal was to achieve a solution that was simple yet visually compelling—an identity that conveyed humility while maintaining a contemporary, modern character.

The Solution

Asmbl (Assemble) was the approved name, which set the foundation for developing both the wordmark and the brandmark—each designed to function effectively on its own and as part of a cohesive identity system. We selected Neue Haas Grotesk as the primary typeface for its versatility and strong alignment with the project’s modern, understated character.

For the brand, our goal was to design a letter "A" that visually communicated the idea of being composed of four distinct components. The concept explores how these four elements progressively intertwine, culminating in a fully defined shape (idea).
